Employee Medicine

A domain whose importance is continually increasing with multiple functions:

Participation in evaluating professional risks;
Monitoring the health state of employees offering:medical examinations when hiring; medical examinations for adaptation; medical examinarion when re-hiring;
Professional rehabilitation, re-hiring, changing professional orientation in case of work accident, professional diseases, professional related diseases or chronic diseases;
Communicating professional risk to all the interested parts in the work procesus;
Councelling the employer in adapting work to the psichofisiologic features of the employees;
Immergency medical attendance in case of work accidents or acute diseases while performing activities;
Counselling the employer in order to establish the health and security strategy of the employees;
Participating in the national informational system regarding work accidents and professional diseases;
Evaluating the suitability and the necessity of sick leave pf the employees in order to reduce absenteism and increase work productivity;

Such services are offered according to the professional risks specific to the company, according to Romanian legislation in use:

Law 90/1996 regarding Worjk Protection, Law 100/1998 regarding public health;
Comun Order NO 50/10.11.2002 and NO 93/25.11.2002 regarding stipulations about organizing employee medical services: for adopting the methodology stipulating the medical examination when hiring, adaptation examination, regular medical cunsultation, medical examination when re-hiring and in order to establish the facrors of exposure and /or biologic effect, for the body response to risk factors of proffesional diseases.
